Walk from the west in that mosque. To better value the building, approach from the Hippodrome side, slowly. Walk through the beginning portal and into the courtyard. The mosque’s large roof inherits sight, and your view of the domes cut down modifies with every step. Put up your eyes to heaven. Marvel at the six slender and graceful minarets sailing into the blue sky.

While I look on Istanbul graphics, I mean the graceful blue and white tiles and no wherever will a traveler find out more graceful examples of seventeenth century Blue Iznik tiles than in the Blue Mosque. The admission charge is free but as it’s a spiritual place, women had better bring a head scarf and dress with modesty.
